Speak Out Against Domestic Violence Grants

Committed to the mission of ending domestic and gender violence, the U.S. Avon Foundation launched Avon's global Speak Out Against Domestic Violence initiative in 2004, and has contributed nearly $60 million globally to support the cause. Every funding cycle is a competitive process for all applicants, whether or not they were previously funded. Therefore, please note that re-funding of programs previously supported by the Avon Foundation is never guaranteed. As a result, applicants can apply for new grants each year.

Now Closed: 2015 Avon Campus Grants to Activate Bystanders to Reduce Sexual Assault and Dating Abuse

Colleges and universities may apply for funds for bystander intervention projects aimed at reducing campus sexual assault and dating abuse. Successful applicants will demonstrate and be able to measure how proposed campus projects will generate awareness by instilling a sense of responsibility for students and faculty to step in and take action when abuse is suspected or observed, providing the training and skills necessary for bystanders to safely intervene.

Open Application: 2015 RFP to Address Key Findings of the Avon Foundation-funded NO MÁS survey

Findings of the Avon Foundation-funded NO MÁS Survey, the largest and most comprehensive study to date of domestic violence and sexual assault in the U.S. Latino community were released in April 2015. The survey demonstrates that domestic violence and sexual assault are prevalent issues in the Latino community, which too often faces a number of barriers the general population does not experience. Successful applicants will demonstrate the strategy and tactics to address specific barriers for Latina victims of domestic violence.
